Stevens's Sugar House
Mike, Robin, Heath & Paige Stevens
1409 Fowler Road
The Stevens’ Family Sugarhouse was build in 1999 retaining a lot of old time tradition. Located not far off the beaten path of Route 100 you will find an old time sugaring operation where sap is boiled into syrup in a 3ft X 10ft flue Leader evaporator. This is a wood fired arch with open pans, front and back for easy viewing. We set 400 buckets and about 350 taps on pipeline. Some of the buckets are set around the sugarhouse and the remainder are set across town at Pleasant Valley Farm where we sugared for years before building our own sugarhouse at home. Come visit our sugarhouse and you will be immediately taken in by the wonderful scent of maple syrup being made. Than you will need to try a sample to see why we truly enjoy the old time tradition so much
